Family-friendly working time models work best when they are individually tailored to the requirements of the company and its employees. We have therefore made it our mission to support our employees in this area. Whether part-time models or flexible working hours, our employees can plan individually according to their needs.


Fair working

More than 3,000 specialists work for Waldläufer in Europe. 95 employees work at our headquarters in Schwanheim in the Palatinate. We have defined guidelines that form the basis of our cooperation:

  • Exclusion of child labor: Our shoes are not made by children. Child labor is prohibited in our production facilities.
  • Prohibition of discrimination: No employee may be discriminated against on the basis of their origin, religion or skin color. We also offer people with disabilities the opportunity to integrate into the company and contribute to its success.
  • Work safety: Regular inspections are carried out to ensure occupational safety.
  • Regulated working hours: It is important to us to guarantee our employees regular working hours so that they can optimally combine their professional and private lives.
  • Environmental protection: In our sustainability campaign, we have committed ourselves to producing in the most environmentally friendly way possible and thereby protecting our environment.
  • Animal welfare: We only use leather that is a waste product of the meat industry. When using materials such as merino wool, it is important to us that no animals are tortured to obtain the materials.



Our career

In our company, young employees can also take on responsibility early on and manage areas independently. We support our employees individually and thus offer a long-term perspective in our company. To this end, we provide our employees with personal development and extensive further training opportunities.

health management

A company’s most important asset is its employees. It is therefore particularly important to us to provide a range of company health benefits. These include paid medical examinations by the company doctor, as well as a number of discounts, e.g. on the purchase of screen glasses or Waldläufer shoes. At the same time, a regular assessment of working conditions (risk assessment) is carried out.
